I have been listening now for a few years, discovery the pod after I came out of hospital following a serious illness. Sad that Jackie has gone on to greater things and I will miss her. I am enjoying the guest presenters with Thangam being my fave so far, she is a real talent. I am a life long...Read full review »

I have been listening to FTM since before Covid - you have been there through thick and thin, and provided me with so much joy, in the good times and the bad (never forget those midweek Covid podcasts!). As a new era dawns, I have loved the episodes with Sheelagh and Thangam so far. Both very...Read full review »

Shiela Fogarty was great, Thangam too although if I had to pick fault, Thangam took over a bit too much. Loved Carolyn Quinn and hope she will be a regular. Looking forward to all the new ones, particularly Emily Thornberry and the awesome Carol Vorderman. Sorry but won’t be listening to Nicola...Read full review »

There will never be anyone to replace Jacqui adequately and I am waiting to see who can supply the same fun and comment. I can’t wait to see if Caroline Quinn comes back as she was the best replacement I have ever heard. Shelagh Fogarty was wonderful but she’s not in the frame. How unsuitable...Read full review »

It’s worth remembering there are thousands of hours worth of brilliant debate and banter to listen back to with the perfect coupling of I & J. I saw them live at the Hippodrome event too. This gives me comfort knowing I can delve back into the archives and listen to episodes I’ve missed or...Read full review »

Sorry, after 30 mins of the new world without Jacqui and knowing the line up of the next 8 weeks, I cannot listen anymore!

Just listened to Sheila Fogarty in place of Jacqui, what a delight and a great pairing. Shame Sheila isn’t in the running for a permanent position.

The podcast will never be the same again. Over half a decade of laughs, tears, joy, smut and the occasional political analysis. Best of luck to Jacqui!

Very sad to see this come to an end. Please keep going Iain - with plenty of smutty jokes. Good luck with the new job Jacqui. Come back when the job is over. Xx

A fully endowed pod. Has everything you’d want to keep you listening, interesting conversations plenty of opposite views also Iain and Jacqui aren’t to bad either. Just one gripe, some pods seem to skip back which can make you feel like you’ve suffered déjà vu - don’t worry though you’re not...Read full review »

I could listen to Iain and Jacqui for hours. They are my go to. I listen on Spotify but just thought I’d check the reviews on Apple. Please ignore the recent negative ones about smut! It’s the light heartedness that makes this (THE) political podcast unique. There’s plenty of stuffy political...Read full review »

Very inappropriate at times. Content which won’t age well. There’s no need for the s3xual content - it’s grim. So much political podcast competition out there, it’s like they haven’t realised how dated it sounds. Quite often little to no prep. done as though we’re lucky to have them....Read full review »

The best political podcast out there. Light hearted, entertaining and insightful. I’ve tried others and apart from newscast I’ve given up on the rest, they are just boring completely serious politics

Really enjoy listening to this even though I don’t live in the UK. The friendship and respect the presenters have for each other shines through and I look forward to the release of each episode. Love the honesty and freedom they have to say things as they are.

35 mins episodes are so much better than the ones that go on for hours. Our lives are busy enough we haven’t got time to listen for hours, just quick 35 mins episodes are just perfect 😁

It was once a must listen but it’s now past its prime. A tired and formulaic yawnfest. Jacqui doing privileged boss-girl feminism and Iain plugging the latest pamphlet he’s knocked up over the weekend. So much time telling each other how funny and rude they are, but not actually being very...Read full review »

Listened to the podcast from the beginning, highlight of my week and keeps me updated with politics back home from Sydney. My heart sinks when I hear Grant Tucker in for Iain, I usually stop listening. That aside, I great podcast.

I’ve always enjoyed listening to Iain’s political opinions/thoughts via LBC and Daily Politics appearances over the last 10 years but, for some reason, only stumbled on For The Many last year. I’m hooked. It’s my favourite podcast and has become a fixture in my week. I always look forward to the...Read full review »

Gets worse as the years go by. Presenters more concerned with how often they can get themselves on tv and their unfunny “smutty” jokes. It’s all rather desperate and embarrassing. Also the ads are crowbarred in often mid-sentence. Amateurish.

I don’t think you will listen to a better political podcast. The chemistry these two have is beautiful and it’s so clear they like and respect each other. I like how they can disagree but in a respectful way. The editing isn’t always great and sometimes the same part is repeated a few times but...Read full review »

Thought I’d give the podcast another listen after a time away. It used to be enjoyable but, with regret, I have to say the newer political/current affairs podcast are much better. There is no depth or insight to their analysis, the ‘humour’ is juvenile and it’s all rather self-serving.

Other political podcast duos owe so much to Iain and Jacqui - the originals and the best. I always hope for maximum length and girth, and they often oblige! Listened for years and still love this podcast. Love their sense of humour but also in-depth knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast Iain. Carolyn a well informed guest with lots of interesting things to say and a lovely sense of humour. Great to hear a BBC lifer when the ties are cut. I used to love this pod. But when you’ve heard all the stories over and again, and the hosts trot out their ageing connections repeatedly, I think it’s had its day. The smug tone of ‘know it all - and don’t need any research/learning’ from Iain in particular has increased beyond toleration....Read full review »

The political insights are good, but more and more time is spent on advertising their live venues and making their private arrangements. I fast forward through that. I used to really like this podcast, but it’s descending into being quite unlistenable at the moment. Over the past few years, For The Many has become a staple of my weekend. I’ve been listening to Iain and Jacqui since lockdown and they have been a great support during difficult times. First time listener and, as I don’t listen to LBC, maybe I should have stayed away. Was interested to hear what had happened to Jacqui Smith. This is one of those podcasts that, in each episode, gives you a political education, an insight into the world of Westminster, without frying your brain and is topped off with a big dollop of smut and humour. Absolutely addictive, whatever your political persuasion.
