I had stopped listening for a couple months as found Iain talking about himself unbearable. I tried again tonight and could not believe it was all about Iain from the start. I am starting to think he throws himself off stages/down stairs so he can speak about himself…Not for me anymore. Boring!

They need an editor. Give it a miss. Full of adverts too.

Excellent balanced podcast. It’s so refreshing to hear good friends disagree respectfully without the need to belittle or shame differing opinions. I’m a NHS consultant Gastroenterologist and left leaning. But, I love the opportunity to hear the balanced and non-tribal views of a Tory. Iain Dale...Read full review »

The absolute best pod out there for insightful political chat and daft buggering about 🥰

Recently found this, very late to the party I know. I love the mix of banal chat , with political discussion. Iain and Jacqui have excellent chemistry. A real treat and enlightening .

My favourite podcast - I love listening to the informed opinions and the humour of course.

I'm very much of the left and therefore my positions are mostly rebuffed by this podcast. That doesn't mean I don't really enjoy listening to the one-on-one between these two Tory commentators (one Labour, one Conservative), and I'm as likely to agree with either of them when I...Read full review »

Started listening, like many, during lockdown and have loved the pod ever since. Has really helped me become less partisan and more open minded to different views (thanks Iain) and embrace nuance! Thanks Jacque and Iain!

Brilliant political commentary from two great broadcasters. If you love your political punditry to be equal measures of funny, factual, and gossipy (with a bit of harmless smut thrown in for good measure), then Iain and Jacqui’s podcast is for you. I Look forward to every episode and as...Read full review »

Just how real people are. J and I hold strong opinions, but hold them loosely. Plus the smut is ace.

I have listened to this podcast for a few years now. It’s very good and I enjoy the smut and humour The only criticism is that Jacqui can be too tribal towards Labour, whereas Iain is more impartial and fair

Only got into podcasts towards the end of the covid lockdowns. Found this one. So glad. Loved politics since at university, but in the last couple of years the constant lies and denials from the current government has made me lose faith in it, and this approach appears to have trickled down...Read full review »

I found this podcast during lockdown. I was dealing with post partum depression and had moved from friends a few months before. I was incredibly lonely. So one day I found this podcast and just listened. I felt like I was with friends having a cup of tea and didn’t feel lonely for the 1-2 hours...Read full review »

Love this podcast, I listen every week. Balanced political views/debate which means a lot to people in this age of polarisation.

Brilliant fun and very interesting. Two lovely friends from opposing sides of the political spectrum engage in lively and respectful conversation. Always insightful and often humorous.

Consistently good fun, informative and puts a smile on your face. And loved hearing Jacqui telling Isabel Oakshott to “shut up” today! 😀

This was the very first podcast I subscribed to and it remains my favourite. There are many reasons the For the Many fans say ‘Thank you for all you do’ to Jacqui and Iain, we are grateful for the political insight, travel advice, nun jokes and, of course, the smut. Please don’t replace Iain...Read full review »

Love the show, full of smut, political gossip, always learn something new. Especially how inside politics really works. But let’s be honest, we all listen as they are both hilariously smut filled people. Like all of us. And swear like troopers.

I listen to many podcasts & have been looking to cut some out,I have to say For The Many is on my cull list. The programme is too long, my time is limited & I don’t need to know every bit of their private lives, questions are often silly, a waste of time and indulgent. Jacqui just spouts...Read full review »

I used to enjoy this but now it has lost its way. There’s far to much irrelevant chatter and Carry On innuendo from Jacqui Smith and Iain Dale. The two main protagonists often just sound pleased with themselves although when pushed Jacqui can reveal a harder edge. Cutting its rambling length...Read full review »

A long term appreciative listener of the hosts’ undoubted subject knowledge, compatibility and mucky humour. But the overarching focus on themselves needs rebalancing

I do wish Jacqui would eat before, or after, the podcast and not while she’s supposed to be talking on air. It’s disgusting to hear her chewing, swallowing etc and so disrespectful to the listener.

Glad to listen to this weeks podcast after last week’s was absent due to technical issue. You have certainly made up for it. Love every episode - informative and so often find I’m giggling out loud. You have become a joyous part of my life! Thank you xx

Absolutely adore listening to Iain & Jacqui’s take on current events. Even when things are bloody awful they can put a smile on my face or make me spit my drink in laughter. Thank you for all you do.

I tried this Alan Partridge tribute act for a few weeks but it just got lamer and lamer. Total waste of time. Much better LBC podcasts out there.

I don’t think you will listen to a better political podcast. The chemistry these two have is beautiful and it’s so clear they like and respect each other. I like how they can disagree but in a respectful way.

Although I’ve heard of Ian Dale, I’ve no idea who the lady is on this podcast. What I do know is that any semblance of professionalism they may have aimed for, has long since departed. I do know she has a cleaner (nice, if you can afford it) and that she doesn’t know how to mute herself or...Read full review »

After many years of listening, and after a few months of wondering whether to continue, the time has now come to stop. Iain has changed so much over the years, from the voice of reason, always keen to put a different point of view, to now just simply agreeing with everything Jacqui says. It...Read full review »

This used to be a great podcast but sadly lost its way. Jacqui behaves as if she is a Labour Party spokesperson although poorly researched and not that knowledgeable. Maybe time for Global to pull the plug especially after they have to record their adverts - cringeworthy in extreme

I usually really like this podcast but I have to say I felt the laughing and joking about how much money the two presenters will be making as a result of the recent tax announcements was in very poor taste. Sad to say, but I no longer find this podcast interesting. I have decided to give it a miss. I get the feeling that the hosts are tired of it. Really sad to say that this podcast has lost its way and the charm it used to have. Me and my partner used to love this show and listen together- unfortunately I can’t listen to Iain dale refer to the woman's football as ‘ladyball’ any longer.
