Iain Dale and Jacqui Smith’s weekly musing on current affairs with a smattering of 1970s smut is the antidote to the nasty politics of total destruction we see elsewhere. He leans Tory, she’s Labour, but both start from a point where you can disagree with someone politically without assuming they are a bad person. Politics for rational people. Informative, funny, gossipy, occasionally mucky, and possibly the best UK political podcast going.

Whilst not sharing the political views of Jacqui Smith I find her the perfect counter-balance to Iain Dale. The podcast is very enjoyable to listen to and it is always good to listen to other people’s viewpoint. The fact they get on with each other makes the discussion very affable.
