What Would You Like to Confess Today?
Forgive Me! is centered around a simple premise, but within a few episodes it becomes clear that this show is absolutely unpredictable and can easily jump from humorous to heartbreaking and back again without missing a beat. Despite its setting, “Forgive Me!” explores some unexpected yet hilarious situations and themes. I was completely unprepared for some of these twists and punchlines… For comedy, Episode Four, “Youth Participation” and the story of the Christmas Mass incident was my favorite. I hope we hear more from Clara in the future. For the feels, listen to Episode Three, “About Tomorrow.” I can’t say much without doing the episode a disservice, but what I will say is that while I was listening to it I stopped everything else I was doing… and sat down… and just listened… It may not absolve me of my sins, but listening to this show makes me happy and brightens my day every time I let it. I adore the absurd world of Saint Patricks and I hope you will too.

I liked the format of the confessional and I wish season 3 had more of them. I get that creatively, it may not be as fulfilling to stick to a format and style. Regardless, I think the story is good throughout all seasons.

I am as anti-religion as one could get, but I find this podcast to be warm and engaging. Love the characters and how they can take something simple, make it complex, and then make it simple again. But I really, really, and really need the arson plot to end.
