Diagnosed initially in 2006 with metastatic stage 4, PR+ breast cancer and then again in 2020 with triple negative breast cancer, Pearl continues to defy the statistics with focus and tenacity.  15 years after her diagnosis, she is with us to talk survival.

Curtis's wife Alexa, was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer in 2015, and given, at best, a year to live. Alexa recently passed away, 6 and a half years after her diagnosis. Curtis was her support and self-appointed caregiver, and he shares Alexa's story, as well as his thoughts and feelings both during her journey and after her death.
