Thoughts on this.
Hi, Frank, I can relate to your story - I was raised as a Christian, but recently had some thoughts that made me doubt Gods existance all together. For example, my friends and even my husband don't believe in God, yet they live, they thrive and aren't obliged to follow the rules of church like I was. And where is the proof that God exists? I mean, if something good happens, we can say "it's a Gods blessing", yet we also can just say - "it happened, cause good things just happen" And both of those sentences work. I realised that God exists just because we let him. And if I don't believe in him, what will change? Apart from (maybe) going to hell, nothing. But the biggest thing is the guilt. I've always felt guilty of not going to church, not praying and thanking enough, of not being good enough. And it was so until I realised that I am killing myself with these thoughts. Whenever I was thinking about God, I was filled with guilt and felt very annoyed. And realising that this faith makes me very unhappy, made me question - am I letting something that maybe is real (but there is no good way to prove it) to guide me and to control my well-being? It didn't feel right. Right now I am somewhere in the middle - I have a feeling that there is something bigger than us, yet I don't want to believe that it's an old man with a long beard (my first idea of God aswell 😄). Sorry for being so chaotic and probably misusing some words or writing them wrong, I feel too lazy to check grammar 😂 Thank you for this podcast! Stay cool and attractive 😏 TERead full review »

I was brought up the same way. I think to deny my Christian upbringing is to deny my culture. In my twenties (51 now) I went through a HUGE transformation. Being an INFJ I was extremely intuitive to the point I was interpreted as being psychic. Of course in the Christian church this is shamed. St...Read full review »

You get introspective solo talks on creativity, identity etc., as well as conversations with a variety of guests. I hope we see more episodes in the future...Read full review »
