This podcast is parkrun’s weak point
I really hope the new CEO of parkrun reforms this podcast in 2022. Since parkrun returned in July 2021, we have been treated to no less than 17 anecdotes by the host as to why he didn’t parkrun the previous weekend or bring a barcode. He clearly is irreverent and indifferent towards actually parkrunning. I gave up in early January when instead of positive stories about a new year at parkrun we had to listen to almost 10 minutes chat of drinking on New Year’s Eve. Not suitable for the kids in the car anymore. parkrun is an amazing movement and is deeply meaningful to many lives. This show is its weak point.

The anniversary edition of this show was disappointing. Time for a shakeup as it’s not about parkrun anymore.

Louise & Vassos are knowledgeable & entertaining, whilst getting great involvement from parkrun guests and the wider community 🌳🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🌲

Despite the brickbats heading the way of this show, I rather enjoy it! Have long been a fan of Vassos and a friend of Louise and I feel that they spark off each other rather well! As I said in the title, there’s no such thing as too much parkrun so it’s very nice to have another perspective!
