I’ve been binge listening to Kati’s episodes like it’s Netflix! As a hospital pharmacist, who has worked alongside critical care nurses, these episodes have given me a greater appreciation for nurses overall as I have a front row seat to listen to your experiences, understand your viewpoints and...Read full review »

Katie combines science, nursing wisdom, and practical sense. She inserts humor appropriately and is a stern nurse role model at other times.

I’m a month into my accelerated BSN program and I am not exaggerating I have learned more from this podcast than my nutrition and patho classes combined. I love breaking up studying and going for a walk and listening to this. They don’t teach you a lot of this in school! I love the topics and you...Read full review »

Kari, A friend referenced your neuro content that she finds helpful in her work. When I read watched you, I found I was already subscribed to your podcast. Small world! I love your topics and believe there is so much we need to do to help the newest nurses. I’ve just listened to your walking...Read full review »

I love this podcast! So informative and easily digestible. The only thing is sometimes the audio isn’t the best and certain guests seem to be whispering so I can’t hear very well. Also the past two episodes for some reason won’t load and I can’t finish listening to. Other than that one of my...Read full review »

As a new grad nurse working in a small critical access hospital with no formal grad nurse program and a relatively unstructured orientation, I really appreciate this podcast. I love the mix of informational and emotional support. I find it very grounding and validating.

I absolutely love this podcast! This is really the first one that I have every listened to and I am in love with it! Currently I am a second semester nursing student and I just need some other outlets on how to continuously think about nursing and my personal practice. Super informative but the one who keeps saying “umm” and will speak clearly then start whispering is irritating but other than that I really appreciate all of the helpful advice!!

I feel like I hit the lottery with this podcast! I have been so nervous about starting as a new-to-acute-care RN on a Neuro PCU, but after bingeing this show I already feel more confident that I can do this (and am even excited). So why 4/5 and not 5/5? Ugh I hate myself BUT hopefully someone...Read full review »

I love these topics that are so important to understand when becoming a new nurse. I enjoy the ladies as well, my only thing is it’s so so so so hard to listen because static from the mics or the connection is bad from some output. The sound needs to be fix so that these amazing topics &...Read full review »

I really wish I found this podcast sooner. I haven’t started a hospital position for fear of not being good enough. This really help me realize that I’m not alone. I’m really looking forward in taking that next step.

Love this podcast so much. I learn a tremendous amount in every episode... which I why I get so annoyed when I’m into the discussion and then the sound of the voice fades. Love the content, hate the sound.
