Brings me joy (UPDATED NOV 2023)
I love listening to them both and learning their perspectives. It helps widen my understanding of the world. Also, just to make my review of the show complete: **insert idiotic and rude comment about Jessica here** UPDATE: What in the world is wrong with the people who leave reviews seriously complaining about Jessica? Hemant is great, but finding very dry analytical voices in the atheist community isn’t hard. Jessica, on the other hand, brings a passion to the show that makes it so much better than if Hemant was just reading us articles he had written in the past week. I’ve been listening for four years, and Jessica has brought an impassioned perspective on feminism and social justice that I didn’t have anywhere else when I was coming out of fundamentalism. Hemant’s reporting makes the show good, but Jessica’s passion makes the show amazing.

A great balance of thought provoking news discussion and religious pisstaking. People think I’m weird because I’ll be laughing my head off alone in my car listening to this podcast. Jessica, don’t listen to the other reviews - you rock! Keep up the awesome work - you brighten my week.

I love this podcast!! The content is always excellent! I only have one complaint, Jessica's voice has gotten more vocal fry over time. Other than that, it's perfect!Read full review »

This is a great podcast with great interviews and guests. The presenters have a relaxed style but always ask interesting questions. I like the way that they occasionally talk about politics and how it affects the separation of powers.
