What started as a Critical Eye has turned cloudy
Well, I usually don't like to drop a bomb, but... I started listening during COVID as something to listen to on the way to work. I honestly liked the chemistry, and still do, between the hosts. They are really friends and it shows. However, what started as a truly critical podcast showing both the good bad and ugly has gotten very, how do I put this 'critically,' like watching Woahbegone University Cheerleaders cheering on their team when they are down 72-3 and the 3 was the start of a comeback, with 15 seconds left on the board. I dread to think that getting screening copies of Marvel work has somehow influenced their views, but to be honest, right about the same time they were bragging on that they were unabashedly cheering the greatness of movies and shows that are suspect in quality compared to Phase 1-3. Sorry guys, just calling it like I see it. We fans are expecting a certain quality from Marvel and it just isn't there. Cheerleading isn't helping, it's allowing the same dreck to be shoveled out the door. Please be a little more critical, or invite on people who are more critical to provide balance. You might lose the screeners, but you will gain back many more fans.Read full review »

Robby and Kyle have a great ongoing rewatch of the MCU movies. Each Monday I look forward to hearing their in depth review and background knowledge of the movies. I can’t wait to see how they develop the podcast to cover new movies
