Podcast interviews kept dropping out, no structure and pointless information. Worst reptile podcast I’ve listened to so far.

Is there going to be a regular show again? Dominique is very knowledgeable however the topic of conversation on being non binary or a woman in the hobby is becoming draining as a regular listener. I’m here to learn about reptiles and hear about the collections of amazing people- I don’t care if...Read full review »

I always look forward to listening to From the Ground Up while I clean snake poop and feed the collection. Joe also has some nice, healthy isopods as well!

I love the format of the show - it’s usually relaxed, always informative. I like the diversity of guests and topics too, scientists, hobbyists, breeders, and obviously all types of animals.

Joe gives a great interview, asks all the questions I want to know. It’s always interesting, seems like a conversation between friends, I learn a lot and makes my commute enjoyable !

Joe and Melissa are incredible personalities with not only a LOT of detailed experience in the hobby, but an inquisitive and humble nature that means these are not just arrogant pet-tubers looking for a quick buck! Not just that, they produce amazing snakes! In short - listen to this show!

Great podcast for reptile enthusiasts. Guest audio quality is sometimes a bit choppy but great content.

The cohost talks way too much. Often interrupting the guest while they are saying something interesting. She needs to learn that people don’t come to this podcast to listen to her. We come to listen to the guests.

It always baffled me how people who are into a hobby or profession enough to dedicate regular content creation around it seemingly have nothing positive to say about either the hobby or the people involved in it. These hosts seem to complain and disparage constantly while talking back and forth...Read full review »

I love your podcast. I listen to it when I need a laugh or some advice. I have a pregnant creamsicle milksnake who has stopped eating but she is only 4 days into her gestation period, I am confused and scared. Advice is needed immensely!

Joe and Melissa take the listeners along as they learn more about reptiles. This is a hangout type of show, not pure education. It’s fun to hear the guests add their opinions and expertise combined with an easy-going environment. Recommended for adults.

It’s painful to listen to these two uneducated, foul-mouthed, whining, excuse-making wanna-bes ramble on and on about why they’re not selling snakes, etc.
