The swearing by one of the hosts is too much. It’s off putting and discredits what she’s saying because it doesn’t fit with the topic of conversation. Interesting conversation and information. I’ll listen to some more to see if it was just this particular episode.

Using the word ‘like’ every two seconds made me want to stop listening instantly. Also, I don’t agree with these girls when they said the non-drinkers should foot the bill for the drinkers, not on and unfair! These girls show their age, and I stopped listening right after this statement.

Self indulgent rambling adolescent clap trap

I really struggled to get through the first and only episode I tried to listen to. “Why don’t you just die”, “You deserve to be ostracized”, “having no friends or partner because no one can stand being around you because you’re so stingy” are just some quotes. It just seems like b*tch session....Read full review »

Good times and great classic hits, but please never say c’est la vie again. Don’t really care about hearing about an earbud found on the street for 10 min. One of the hosts are super funny though.

It’s cool to hear people being straight up about their financial situations and the hosts are very endearing. Even if you don’t always agree the point is to open up the discussion and I’m excited to see where they take it if they go for a second season.

These girls have a great concept but I think they could utilise this to learn more, rather than antidotal chats about their own lives. FIRE community is not something I know a lot about however I would think that the girls would be more open minded to being financially independent. Sometimes...Read full review »

Made me laugh a couple of times but as far as actual information or insights there’s not much there.. will give a couple more episodes a listen but all seems pretty shallow and unremarkable.

“Why don’t you die” “You’re a ducking freak, you deserve to be ostracised” A couple of quotes from the first (and last)episode I listened to. I was really excited to listen to this podcast as it’s a topic I’m interested in but the straight up meanness of some of the things said really turned me...Read full review »

Loved the concept, unfortunately I feel they need a bit more education around finance/money - they are young so I get it, but wouldn't mind if they approached from more of an educating themselves position, but they don't. I switched off when I heard half an episode bagging on the FIRE...Read full review »

This podcast is such a delight. It isn’t a financial advice podcast nor does it claim to be however I came here from “She’s On the Money!” And have found all the warmth and humanity that I feel like that podcast is lacking. The hosts are intelligent, charming women who are happy to discuss the...Read full review »

Well done girls! I love the topics they’re so relevant to me and I really like the free flowing conversational format. The way you discuss things and get down to specifics is relatable and kind of makes me feel like I’m OK financially but could do better in some ways. I would definitely...Read full review »

I was recommended Frugal Forever by a colleague and was skeptical at first but it’s genuinely excellent. Easy to listen to, non-preachy, accessible money content. It’s completely changed how I think about my money situation in a very good way. I’m recommending it to everyone. Love it.

Ehh
Pretty dull and goes off track so much. I’ve never really gained any knowledge from the content (which is essentially just anecdotes) especially since I can’t relate at all to their spending habits/salaries.

Australian- based, young female lead AND transparent about the big taboo of money? I’m always excited for every episode and have tried to find other personal finance pods like this one to fill the time in between eps... but there is nothing like it. Thank you gals for being so candid, accessible...Read full review »

I have never listened to a podcast that was so relatable! As someone in my mid-twenties, navigating life without the luxury of a huge salary this has been so reassuring! The realisation that not everyone knows the answers to the questions I always ask myself is so comforting 😂 Great info, great...Read full review »

Some of the topics are really interesting, but the presenters can also waffle on and lose my attention. Additionally, I was very turned off by the adamancy of refusal to use a keep-cup by one of the hosts - very immature and hypocritical. I’m not sure I entirely align with the values of this...Read full review »

Josie and Katie are super candid and it’s refreshing to see younger women talk about money but in more of a fun way! It’s definitely made me think about my personal finances. Love them!!

A great listen, a little cringey at times but you can tell they’re from Sydney I guess. A great listen and recommend. Nice to hear people talking about money and the arts

Always look forward to the next episode, feels like I’m having a chat with my best mates.

WTH, some other podcast totes stole your idea. Yours is still the best and the ORIGINAL! Love your banter, feel as though I’m hanging with mates.

I’m loving Josie & Katie’s rapport - they are very entertaining. It’s refreshing to hear money being spoken about in such a frank way. Also love hearing how much people earn & spend.

Great podcast and production. These girls really have a great energy and are hitting the mark every time
AudioMang via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/22/19
Great to hear people my age talking about financial issues. It would be a lot easier to listen to if the girls could possibly avoid using the word “like” so much. It’s a bit distracting.

I was directed here by Flex Mami and have just gone back and listened to all available episodes, I can’t get enough! love it! It’s so important to have these conversations and I love that this has helped me feel more comfortable about money and the conversation about money in my own life.

Great concept however, Katie comes across very judgemental towards Josie. I felt uncomfortable listening to Katie and could not finish any of the episodes. This podcast should empower not diminish people.

This is such a timely conversation to be having and you’re asking all the questions on my mind. I love the honesty and can’t wait for more episodes!

I’m into it. I liked that you’re acknowledging privilege in this discussion. Maybe you could consider occasionally having guests on who have different experiences to you.
