Unik samling muntlig dokumentasjon av moderne amerikansk fiskerihistorie med mange norske forbindelser. Spenning, dramatikk og humor med en folkelig og uformell tone. Noen burde ta utfordringen og gjøre noe lignende her i Norge.

These interviews are priceless, a piece of history that most could not imagine living. Thank you Mark and all of the Mariners that have lived these stories and for the ones that have not come home. These are stories that needs to be told.

Mark, I want to thank you for your most recent podcast with Paul Drennen and the amazing poem by Ms. Heaverly. I am not sure that words could ever express the gratitude that i have for the light you all have shed on the Cook Inlet region. My family, my identity, and my culture are all intimately...Read full review »

I have enjoyed listening to the stories. But what I want to hear is for someone to ask Mark Caylor some of his stories. Thanks & always looking forward to the next story.

I only listened to one so far...USCG Captain Chris Woodley episode. My dad served in the USCG, so it was interesting to hear about the changes in safety regulations and the impact of said changes. The guest spoke well and the conversation flowed well. Quality podcast!

Phony drama inundates us all, Mark’s in a unique position (it’s hard to find these guys) he’s enabling fishermen to tell real stories. Like hard rock mining, you’ve struck gold, keep working it Mark, you’re efforts enrich all who listen. Well done!

Great work Mark! Good to finally meet you the other day at Bad Jimmys! Would love to see a live podcast night at the brewery. Maybe Billy, Greg and Seth will climb aboard for a special story night?

I’m not giving this review on any single episode but on the overall idea. As a fisherman since 1987 these stories have brought back a lot of fond memories as well as some not so fond memories. I believe these stories will let a lot of people (wives, kids and friends)better understand the life...Read full review »

Very interesting to hear about some of the other guys in the Alaskan fleet. This reminds me of Paul Harvey’s “The rest of the Story”, but it’s with the actual person who lived it, not a knot her persons rendition of another mans life! Great job Mark!!!
