If you like farming games, then Hay Day by Supercell is a fun game you can load right onto your iPad. Start by planting wheat and raising chickens. As you grow, you get more crops to plant and more animals to take care of.
Sell your produce at the farmers market or trade with friends. Then you can come back and build more like a bigger silo or processing facilities.
Although you can connect to Facebook, you can also play this game just as well without doing so. In-app purchases start at $1.99 for a sack of diamonds.
HayDay is free and available on iOS and Android devices.
