Description
If you like the card game Magic: the Gathering, then I have an app for you. It’s called Magic 2013 by Wizards of the Coast, and it takes the popular card game and puts it on your iPad. While I’m not a big Magic: the Gathering fan, I have played it a time or two. Just like with the iPad version, you pull cards from your deck. Sometimes it’s land, other times is an attack card or enhancement card. You play land to get mana, then play mana to attack. Each person has 20 points, so the goal is to deplete their health. The game has some really nice graphics to it. The only downfall is the game itself is 999 MB in size. If you have a 16 GB iPad, then you might be scrambling to remove app and media so you can install this game. The app is free, so if you go through a couple games and it doesn’t work for you, simply remove the app. There is a full version for $9.99, with many .99 cent purchases for special cards. It’s not a fast paced game, but neither is the actual card game. Still, I have heard many a Magic fan giving good reviews on this app. It also has a 4.5 star rating in the app store.
