Description
Today’s game is a twist on Space Invaders. Except instead of fighting off alien ships, you fight off.. chickens! This shoot em up game has your ship avoiding eggs and turning chickens into fried birds. Along the way, you collect coins, presents to upgrade your guns, and other treats of chicken legs and whole cooked chickens. Of course, if you run into a chicken, or one of the eggs it lays – you loose a life. The game progresses with meteor showers and special levels. It’s an interesting game, but I did find a small issue. The ship doesn’t follow your finger that well. If you put your finger on the ship to move, within seconds, the ship is to the far left. A small issue that will most likely get fixed in the next version. Chicken Invaders 2 is brought to you by Big Fish Games, and is free. There are different versions of this game, some for $2.99 iOS 6 Announced at WWDC I also talk about WWDC and the new iOS 6 that will be coming this fall. The new version of iOS will include Siri for iPad (3rd Gen iPad only). Also coming with the new version is Apple’s Mapping service, integrated Facebook, and Passbook – a way to hold your club cards, airline tickets, and any other item that has a bar or QR code within. Of course, WWDC also announced a new Macbook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion, Airport Extreme, and Macbook Air.   Check out yesterdays iPad app – Cat Ave. Final Nestination
