Wow this is good
I’m only through Ep 2 and I’ve already recommended this podcast to a bunch of friends. The open, systemic anti-semitism is important to understand, especially given how much things have evolved since then. I love the style of storytelling, focusing on specific incidents that happened at each of the universities that highlight how the discrimination was taking place. I’m still thinking about the silence of Rockefeller at the end of Ep 2. Deafening. My father went to Dartmouth in the early 60s. I always wondered why he chose to go there because its current reputation isn’t at all what I associate with him. Seeing the title of Ep 3 I’m no longer wondering. Thanks for such a fascinating and well done pod!

The journalism displayed in this entire series is exceptional - especially the Penn episode. Mazel Tov!

This is an amazing story that explains a lot about the way things were. Having relatives that attended and rejected by Ivy League schools, I’m getting a better understanding of what those times were like especially the generation before me that were skipping grades.

These insights into the Jewish experience of the Ivies are insights into U.S. history and the non-Jewish social/political elite of the 20th century. I hope there is a second season.
