Good content, but still lacking
Some wonderful backstory on Jews in the Ivy League. However, two criticisms, one of which, perhaps, may be resolved in the later episodes of the series. First, I find the NPR-style cadence of the narrator’s voice to be extremely irritating and artificial. Why can’t he just speak like a normal person? Second, the narrator hints at it, but in the first four episodes there has been no discussion about how the very admission policies of the “well rounded student” that were intended to minimize the importance of academic achievement, and keep Jews out of the Ivy League back in much of the 20th century, are in place today, once again doing the exact same thing, only now instead of favoring boarding school WASPs, favor Black students, or athletes, or others from select groups deemed worthy of a special boost to increase their representation.

More reviews of Gatecrashers
Enjoyed the earlier episodes based on the history that occurred. Later episodes especially the last one, were subject to the hosts opinions about being Jewish, Israel, and anti-Zionism. His disdain for Jews who identified differently than him was judgmental and inappropriate.
