Good overall, but wish they would keep the guests relevant
I love the episodes that are just Sasha and Stella, and most of the guests have been great too, but a few of them seem to not quite be relevant to the topic, or at least the hosts and guests fail to make the connections that make them relevant to the topic. For example, I found the conversation with Milli Hill very interesting but I don’t really see how it tied in with the gender identity topic, other than that she has faced consequences for speaking out about the topic. And then the recent episode with Benjamin Boyce was even less relevant. He talked for nearly 40 minutes before he even really mentioned gender identity, and then when he finally did he hardly had anything new or interesting to contribute to the subject. It seemed like the hosts were trying to get him to relate his cult experiences to the gender movement, but he hardly even went into the connections between the two. He spent most of the episode talking about his thoughts on race relations and his life story. Overall I think this is a great show but I wish they would keep the guests to people who actually have important knowledge of and/or personal experience with this issue, not just anyone who’s gotten attention for speaking out about it.

This is a really good podcast for those wanting to learn more about the trans debate. Sasha and Stella discuss the issues in a knowledgeable and compassionate manner. Recommended!

I’m seeing a trend in the 1 star reviews - most of them admit to only listening to part of the first episode or only the first episode and calling it trash and transphobic. Others are being hateful and saying how can two cis women make up scenarios, laugh at trans people, and provide no evidence...Read full review »
