Varied and interesting. Excellent science communication
Fantastic science communication! I am a medical doctor and this podcast has helped introduce and develop an interest in genetics. I am now taking a few modules in genomic medicine as CPD, and investigating ways to formally increase the amount of clinical genetics I can do in my specialty. The topics are interesting and varied. Episode length is perfect. Complex concepts are presented in an engaging and extremely effective way - often way more effective and certainly less time consuming (for me) than struggling through a difficult section of a textbook. The show notes are also a great resource. Specifically - the inclusion of ethics and insights from families and patients is excellent. I also enjoy hearing about the process of discovery and the profiles of the scientists that made them (especially the neglected female scientists). I appreciated the well pitched acknowledgement of COVID19 in the recent episode and for keeping it a COVID free zone. Thank you!
