“I was a fan of this show and LOVED the recommendations until one of the hosts (Amanda) made a remark that a book was better than another because of the race of the author. I was offended, I posted about it, and she replied that she abosolutely thinks authors of certain races are better and she's "not sorry even a little bit." This is the kind of racist attitude I thought her site was trying NOT to promote, and her rudeness ruined the podcast forever for me. I can't listen to someone who can't even reply to a concern professionally, opinions aside. Her cohost Jenn did reply in a professional way, and she does a great job. They also never got to my request a few months earlier, despite their constant reassurance that they will address all of them.”Read full review »
