James Escarcega is a Sports Writer for the Southern California News Group. He reports on multiple high school sports in the areas covered by the Pasadena Star News and Whittier Daily News. James talks about his perception of the Rio Hondo Prep football program from a neutral point of view and compares their body of work to other schools throughout the area. Before joining the media, he was a football coach at Crespi, South Hills, and Schurr.
