One of the best and most fun circular economy resources out there!
The podcast is great and so informative without being dense. Perfect balance, in my opinion. Katie's hosting style is very organic and fun to listen to, while also promoting intelligent discussion. I like listening (and oftentimes re-listening) to the episodes on this podcast on walks and long drives, and always have my passion for sustainable and circular development renewed! Great resource for individuals of any background or knowledge-base, as Katie's podcast has topics ranging in complexity from introductory to deeply technical (but still easy to grasp). If you are looking for suggestions on episodes and are completely new to the field of Circular Economy, start off with this one "What is the Circular Economy and Key Principles with Rebecca Kimber". Great introduction to circular economy philosophy! Also, here are my top three if you are still looking for episodes and want more suggestions (in no particular order) - 1. Designing for a Circular Economy and Systems Thinking with Dr. Leyla Acaroglu - Reason: I learned about Systems Thinking much before being introduced to Circular Economy, which is making my transition towards trying to learn Circular Economy a bit smoother. 2. What Circular Economy can learn from Lean and Green Thinking with Dr. Keivan Zokaei- Reason: I was inspired by the data-oriented approach of Lean Six Sigma and the philosophy behind Lean Manufacturing by one of my guest lecturers in my engineering course. 3. Leadership for a Circular Economy with Dr. Wayne Visser - Reason: Just learnt so much that was directly applicable to any team-related scenario, and how the right leadership team is instrumental in implementing that change.Read full review »
