Misses an opportunity

The podcast has missed opportunities to discuss educational inequality. For example, only one of the many HS seniors it follows doesn’t have college-educated parents, while more than half of all HS seniors in the US don’t have college-educated parents. The podcast’s only touch upon financial aid thus far has been to encourage families to trust colleges' projection of financial aid enough to apply early decision; yet, the podcast neglects to mention that early decision leaves families with almost zero leverage with which to negotiate financial aid packages. I hope that next season the podcast features a more diverse crew of seniors.Read full review »
