Some really helpful advice
The most recent episode (starting the financial aid process) has been the best one to date. Lot of leads on where to find good information. My only gripe is the advice to hire a private admission counselor. There’s a lot of good information out there for free, and I know too many people who worked as an application reader for a few years and then become a private counselor. Seems like a racket to me.

As a mother to a high schooler and middle schooler, I very much appreciate the balanced information offered in this podcast. There is an understanding of the hysteria that can envelope families, but the podcast clearly points us in the direction of a sane approach to college planning.
