Jake on tour, story time!
Hey Jake, Brad, and Timon! Cameron here! It's been great to listen to the pod and hear about your lives. I became a Ghostie from a combo of Jean shorts and a friend telling me about the Ghostrunners pod. I thought this would be a good time to leave a review. So, yesterday (March 2), my girlfriend surprised me with tickets to see the Trey Kennedy Grow Up Tour in Reading, PA, and I got to see Jake perform, which was great. (FYI – I am not from Reading.) I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully hear your commentary on the pod. For starters, walking to the place, I followed a group of Mennonite women into the arena…. I didn’t know that was Trey’s audience. I then walked in and saw Isaac stuck at the merch table. It's cool to meet someone featured on the pod from your friend circle. Honestly, Isaac was such a cool guy, and it was nice talking to him about Friday Pickleball and life. The comedy special was great. The opener, Lucas, was solid, Jake was hilarious, and Trey did not disappoint. During the performances, I sat in a row with roughly 25 people. Of the 25 people, 22 were white moms, and then it was my girlfriend and me. But the one other person was a 50-year-old white man, who came by himself. He sat through Lucas and Jake but left halfway through Trey, leaving behind multiple cans of Miller Lite. Interestingly, he did not laugh one singular time all night. Is this normal? I would look over here and there, but not even a smirk of enjoyment. Psycho behavior? After the show, I had the pleasure of briefly meeting you, Jake, with some friends from church. Fun stuff. I live south of Reading, so I had to drive through the backroads of Lancaster, PA to get home. Please tell me why I saw over 10 Amish horse and buggies?? And I saw multiple Amish kids on scooters too for crying out loud. Mind you, it’s pitch black and after 10:00 pm on a Sunday night. Don’t they have to till the fields at the crack of dawn? My best guess is they got home late from taking Communion bread and wine from their house party… I meant house church. All in all, I had a great time seeing Jake and Trey perform. Hoping I will get to meet Brad and Timon someday. Thanks for all the laughs and stories you all provide. Praise God, and love you guys.Read full review »

Hey there! Opera major here, love the podcast. I wanted to let you know that generally, voice lessons cost anywhere from $70-$150/hour, depending on the degrees/experience of your teacher. I know it’s steep (I also live in LA so that may be a factor), but if you can invest in and build a solid...Read full review »
