A worn skinsuit built on passions of those long gone
The show has become a self-praising circle of rotating desperate casts with no consistency or direction. The brand and essence of Giant Bomb as built by the friendship and unique interactions between those groups mostly held up until the start of this decade but is now just a flimsy name that hosts vapid hour-long personal life discussions, never-ending praise for maybe 2-3 games a year in a diverse industry, and rotating guests constantly banking on personal relationships to whoever are the current hosts. It's exhausting and if public view count trends on YouTube are anything to go by, your audience agrees. Like recent bombs including Indiana Jones now ask - does Giant Bomb mean anything anymore? A word of advice - never do those audio transitions on Giant Bomb at Nite again. How far along the chalkboard-scratching auditory spectrum were you trying to land? The recent additions of Brad Shoemaker and Vinny Karavella are very welcome and now the podcast moves a lot faster and flows much better. This is one of the best podcasts arround. It has humour, and gets information on video games in aswell. The perfect thing to kill some time.

I agree with the other reviewers in that this podcast manages to capture the energy and fun of what Gamespot's Hotspot podcast used to hold.
