“THE GOOD: I have been hooked since the amazing interview with Charlize Theron. I really liked how Charlize's episode was about her upbringing and taking risks, and the interview with Gregg Renfrew addressed important topics like work/life balance and being a woman in the world of businessmen. Stories of these women striving to pursue their dreams and facing challenges that feel so universal is really inspiring.
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Technically the podcast needs some work. I enjoy the intros with Liz but they need more direction. I enjoy the interaction between two friends but it would be better if it had a little more structure and less bodily functions. I love burping too but I don't want to hear it on podcasts.
The transitions to commercials need work too. It will just get quiet and I think something is wrong. The so-called interstitial jam is barely audible. Sophia should announce that the podcast is taking a quick break instead of relying on a soft musical interlude to clue listeners into the shift.
Lastly, some episodes are less interesting. I don't feel empowered by hearing someone talk about whose nails they'd like to paint. Focus should be on the life experiences and struggles more than the technical aspects of their careers. I want to keep hearing about drive and ambition and failures and challenges!”Read full review »

For reals though I am at a point in my career in my mid 20's of feeling...”Read full review »

“The begging conversations with her friend literally make me cringe. They sound like 16 year olds who are talking about sharting... barfing.. bad breath and burping.. for 20 minutes. Awful. I enjoy the interviews so I wish this podcast would shape up and follow through with the reputation...”Read full review »
