After discovering this podcast a couple of months ago I've become quite attached to Gleeman and Bonnes. I'm not a Twins fan, and stumbled across this show by accident while trying to satisfy my baseball craving from over here in the UK, but I'm so glad that I chanced upon it. Unlike a couple of other non-mainstream podcasts I can think of, the tone here is friendly and relaxed. There is no snark, no condescension, and no pretension. It's just two very smart guys talking in a bar about the club they love. The ambience from the barroom setting adds to the general sense of bonhomie, there's enough personal chat (which I very much enjoy) to balance the Twins analysis (which I very much enbjoy), I have a feeling that I'm amongst instinctively liberal company, and I particularly enjoy the fact that - to these British ears - Gleeman sounds exactly like Christopher Walken.Read full review »

Hearing Aaron bash his lack of "social life" really makes me not feel so bad when I think about mine. Love the podcasts. Look forward to them every week.Read full review »
