Exhaustive Twins Coverage
It is refreshing to listen to unapologetic sports/baseball analysis in the TMZ-style sports era. Turn on most sports radio these days (particularly in Minnesota) -- the personalities all have either inadequate baseball knowledge/interest or are so full of self-admiration that they think we should be as interested in their personal lives as they are; they're almost embarrassed (or too lazy) to attempt in-depth sports analysis (particularly baseball). Not true of this podcast. Unabbreviated Twins coverage from the majors to the minors from men who are both fans and hard-working, intelligent analysts... and not ashamed of either. Gleeman and Bonnes do a wonderful job talking about the various aspects of the Twins and sometimes other baseball teams too. There's a great mix of analysis using advanced stats, the older stats, and just plain what they see with their eyes. Well worth a listen every week.Read full review »

Except that I have been fans of the G & G Boys for longer than Mauer and Morneau. Gleeman is the on-base percentage guy, certain and focused, a journeyman with long, impressive career statistics.
