Examples of complexity; automotive and waste. This lecture is about social complexity taking into account the case study of waste production and disposal. Complexity is the idea that life isn't simple. Case study, ships are complicated systems not just technological but socially. The people on the ship expect various services and the captain bares all responsibility for the ships safety. This case study can be looked at as a human nature ecosystem because the ship is embedded in nature.
