Very informative for new goat owners like me.
I am fairly new to goat ownership; I'm milking for personal/family use in a small backyard homestead setup. I’m very busy so I don’t have a lot of spare time to sit around reading and researching every little eventuality with my newest charges but I do want what is best for my does and our family. I can listen to Dr. Shepard while I’m working or driving and get more in depth look at all the ins and outs of good goat husbandry. I’m feeling way more informed and prepared for what may come rather than just reacting to situations and what if’s. I really appreciate that she approaches and discusses each topic with a multi faceted solutions rather than just the way she prefers doing things. I also appreciate that she says when she is unsure of something or doesn’t have as much experience with certain methods so she can’t speak on it as well it just makes me feel she has a lot of integrity in what she does.Read full review »

I love when Dr. Shepard talks physiology. It is a great help to understand why or why not to include certain common management practice protocols. Love to hear anatomy and physiology that is well explained!!!
