This Show Is Like…
One of my friends recommended I listen to this podcast, and prefaced it like this: “This show is like sitting on your grandma’s couch and listening to her and all your great aunts gossiping about people in town.” I absolutely loved how the hosts put the stories together, and they did a very good job finding the people who shared their insights to these crimes. What I was left thinking, though, is how some people can hate another so much that they’ll go to these extremes to kill someone. And, at the end of the day, the victims were human. Flawed, yes, but still someone’s daughter, mother, friend. I really appreciated how this podcast portrayed the victims and interviewed people close to them. Can’t wait for the next one!

Extremely well researched and narrated. Unlike so many podcasts of this type, real effort went into approaching it from all angles and forming a compelling theory. In the process it is both objective and compassionate. Oh and respectful of all involved, a rare concept these days. Nice work.

Took me a couple episodes to get into the story, but once I did, I couldn’t stop. Good story telling and it’s interesting to hear first hand from people in the story.

He mentions Brown V Board of Education but omits white flight and self segregation framing...Read full review »
