If you spend any amount of time thinking about graffiti, listen to this.
Wiretapping is awesome. It's the only way you can hear writers talking about graffiti. Audio quality is mostly skype conversations or phone taps, but is good enough most of the time. Writers interviewed are primarily 90's and 00's train heads. If you're just starting out, I would recommend starting from the most recent and avoiding some of the very early episodes. DEJA is your main host in the majority of the episodes. His interview style is pretty straightforward. He asks from a list of the same questions and while they tend to yield the same answers, everyone has a different thrilling chase story. This is hard to explain, but DEJA is kind of detached from the writer he's interviewing. Although the questions he asks tend to yield the same answers and are somewhat nostalgic, DEJA cuts right to the chase, asks the standard graffiti interview questions, and lets the interviewer do most of the talking. Yet, in some of the early episodes, DAMAGER is the host. DAMAGER is totally the opposite and adds unnecessarily long intros trying to tell us why one particular writer is so famous. There are a thousands of writers; you either know who they are or you don't. Everyone probably had their moment of fame. It's hard to say, the early episdoes with DAMAGER would be better if he just let the writer keep talking. So avoid the early episodes. But overall, excellent.Read full review »

I loved this podcast when they were being released on the somewhat regular. Hopefully they'll get back into it. It's one of the only podcasts that I can listen to episodes multiple times.Read full review »
