I live in the semi-south, Texas, and after I’ve moved here I’ve become curious about Southern cooking- sweet tea, grist, collard greens and pies of all kinds. The show has introduced me to the best food in the South and the ways in which people celebrate their heritage and the people who help make it possible- farmers, chefs, cookbook authors & more. :-)
