I’ve been meaning to write a review about how much I enjoy this podcast since I started listening some time last year, and now there’s a new season which is sounding just as great and informative as the last, kicking off with a long, apposite and memorable take on New Orleans and all the changes since Katrina, dealing not just with food (although how appropriate that one of the sections dealt with the rebuilding of Willie Mae’s Scotch House just days before Obama turned up there for lunch). This podcast deals with Southern life and culture in all its aspects in an entertaining and educational way, although always with an emphasis on food - check it out!
