“Having been mainly a cricket and soccer fan, I was turned to rugby by my Welsh girlfriend, who - as was necessary if our relationship was to last beyond the next Six Nations - imbued in me an appreciation for the oval ball. Needless to say, I bloody loved it and was immedaitely hooked.
As a newly-formed Pommie rugby fan, I love the Aviva Prem, but couldn't help noticing the banquet of Super Rugby on offer weekend mornings, so got involved, and soon found you GAGR boys through the Eggchasers pod. I've been a devout listener for almost a year now, and both you and the Report Card boys are easily up there with my favourite podcast listens.
The only down side to my getting involved in Super Rugby, however, is that I seem to have acquired - through your empassioned eulogising, a sense of injustice, and through downright English masochism - something of an affinity for the Western Force...
My love for Adam Coleman - all two metres of him from his clown feet to his lime green scrum cap - grows every weekend, and Dane Heylett-Petty might just be the best double-barrelled thing to come out of Australia since Chuck Fleetwood-Smith.
