Incredible podcast. Heartbreaking and poignant stories of painful loss. I turned to this podcast after I lost my mum. Made me feel less alone with my pain. Thank you everyone involved. Essential listening.🙏

The second anniversary of my husband‘s death is approaching and, feeling its weight & deeply grieved, I looked up podcasts about grief and came across Grief Works. I have just listened to interview with the gentleman whose wife died in 2017. It was deeply moving and very helpful. Thank you.

This podcast is powerful, touching, and healing. I’ve learned so much about my own grief over the loss of my beloved parents (they’ve been gone 15 years and 12 years ago, and I just can’t let go of them), along as helping me to understand how to approach and help others who are grieving. Thank...Read full review »

Thank you, Jill, for presenting just the right approach. Your empathy transmits to your interview subject — and the listener, as well. Your voice is a spot-on match, too, to what my still-wounded inner child needs to hear. I’m in my early fifties and my last remaining parent (my mother) died in...Read full review »

Thank you for the podcast. My Mom had breast cancer 7 years ago and went into remission. I took her to hospital on May 24th, 2020 thinking she had Covid due to shortness of breath. She passed on June 15th. The breast cancer returned and was not caught by the oncologist, cardiologist,...Read full review »

Listened and hope that Julia decides to continue on. My 35yr old wife was in a tragic accident and i had to make the decision to withdraw care. Leaving me a widower at age 36 and single father to a 5 yr old boy. Really helpful in listening, a possible topic could be dealing with loss of spouse at...Read full review »

I am grieving my father’s death. Today was my lowest point to date. I sought out a podcast and am so grateful to have landed on “Grief Works.” Thank-you for the insight and comfort.

Compassionately truthful. I lost my father 7 months ago. Still dealing with the grief. Julia confirms the real inherent truths of death. At this time I am finding some solace. Thank you 🙏

This podcast provides precious little pockets of space in which to access your own grief. No matter whether the interviewee’s situation is the same as your own or not, grief and it’s navigation is a universal affect. So much of daily life hastens us into disengaging with our grief, podcasts like...Read full review »

This is my first ever podcast. I came upon it at 1 am on the 23rd day after losing my oldest son (18 years) to an accidental gun death. While my heart is still broken, hearing the experience of this wife and mother was endearing. Many of her feelings, thoughts, and pains parallel my own. Sudden...Read full review »

the teenage grief episode is proving to be helpful for me - although i lost my dad a year ago (at 15 too) i'm only now getting help and it's nice to actually hear stories from someone who went through a similar experience. it reminds me i'm not totally alone :)Read full review »

This podcast makes comforting listening . It unravels the various threads of the grieving process. It is helpful to realise that many of the things one experiences when bereavement occurs are universal. It allows the power of these reactions to be eroded. I recognised the truth of the statement...Read full review »

I loved this podcast. A hard subject to deal with, but sensitively done. A useful tool for anyone dealing with grief at any level.
