Happy that it exists
My mum died a couple of years ago, and I struggled with addressing it directly; I was an overflowing well of emotions (largely anger) for months on end, and it would leak out in the most unbecoming ways. But unbecoming is my perception and it's not a helpful one; grief is something that isn't normalised in our society because we like to live our lives in ignorance of the thing that causes it, but when has avoiding a problem ever made it better? I'm not telling anyone how to grieve, but I believe very deeply that normalising conversations about it is hugely important, and this podcast is a public good. It's also funny in the bleakest of ways, which is the kind of funny that usually hits the hardest and lasts the longest, because it comes from honesty. I'm very, very happy that it exists.Read full review »

The podcast is absolutely lovely. Grief and loss are absolutely at the forefront, but Cariad's approach is thorough adding in humor and joy. Each comedian offers wonderful insight about living and dying. It is far more expansive and does normalize the discussion of death & dying.Read full review »

This podcast allows you to explore your feelings and understand how odd ‘grief’ really is. You laugh, you relate and you heal. I can’t recommend this podcast enough xx
