Listen now
Description
Beginning in December 2000, a sudden increase in deaths of mostly elderly patients at a small hospital in northern Texas raised eyebrows but not concerns. The tiny town of Nocona found itself writing obituary after obituary, and no one seemed more sympathetic than well-known Nurse Vickie, who was always present when townspeople’s loved ones passed. Tune in to this episode to learn why this nurse’s bedside manner left much to be desired.
