Description
In this episode, Marina covers the case of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who by all appearances, was a petite little girl, wheelchair bound due to her myriad of disabling conditions. She suffered from chromosomal defects, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, severe asthma, sleep apnea, and hearing and vision problems and her conditions were all expertly managed by her mother and sole caretaker, Dee Dee Blanchard. After Dee Dee was found murdered in June, 2015, the community learned the truth about the beloved mother-daughter duo and the fact that things are not always as they seem.
