Description
Making the move to study Trichology ~ a route to career advancement Helen Miller is 46, and has been in the hairdressing industry for 30 years. For the last 7 years she has been a mobile hairdresser. After taking a course with the Cancer haircare charity and learning how to take care of clients with cancer, this sparked her interest to gain more knowledge in order to better help her clients. Her lack of knowledge around the hair & scalp functions and conditions has motivated her to begin studying trichology, and she says the more she learns, the more she wants to learn! We look at how going back to basics and educating clients on caring for their hair has improved her consultations, and as her knowledge has grown so has her confidence, which she finds empowering. Helen shares her experience of choosing the right course, and going back into study after a long period of working.
