From experiencing alopecia to opening a leading online trichology clinic Claire suffered from alopecia areata at 27, which she puts down to stress. She lost over 90% of her hair in a matter of weeks. She describes the feeling of shame she felt, which led her to develop an alcohol addiction. She has now recovered, but this condition led her to study trichology and spurred her on to opening her own clinic.
