Still Funny Eclectic & Informative
Josh and Leah are funny & informative as they discuss amateur radio topics like emergency communication during power outages and disasters, homemade and latest available gear plus tips to keep the amateur radio hobby/service fun & useful. They are hilarious together. One of the few shows in this genre with a young family context, so you'll get relatable reactions and references if you're in that demographic, from pets to Pokémon to school and scouts. The current format, with their content/banter up front before reading reading/playing 90 plus minutes of fan letters, voicemails and emails is GREAT. I listen with my wife on long drives. My wife, like me, is a new ham (Feb2019). She laughs, makes comments and asks questions as we listen. For keeping BOTH of us interested and laughing, Josh and Leah, we thank you so much. As of posting date (July 31st 2020) if Leah does 5 questions a week until June 30th 2022 she’ll have seen 500 questions and there are 426 questions so it’s possible that she’d have seen every question so most likely she’ll be ready by the time the question pool expires.

The lines about The Rock in Episode 51 were such a Dad joke, hilarious nonetheless. Glad that you guys broached the subject of “barriers to entry” into the community as well.
