I'm not sure what this episode had to do with software development, but I'd recommend reading the economist Bob Murphy's review/refutation of Stephanie Kelton's book (on the Mises Institute's website). Hopefully Scott will have Bob on the show to give listeners a more...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to Hanselminutes for years - Scott’s absolutely superb at what he does; letting people talk! I’ve no idea why the history of this podcast is gone - Apple need to sort that out. Five stars.

I’ve been a long time follower of Scott’s across Twitter, his blog, this podcast, and most recently YouTube. Scott puts out high quality content at a consistent pace. Do yourself a favor and give a few episodes a try and you will likely be hooked.

One of the oldest and most consistent technology related pod casts available, Scott has had an incredible array of guests over the past 14 years. Scott does a lot of podcasts about things he is still learning. He asks non-expert but intelligent questions. I enjoy listening to his learning. Even if I’m not interested in the content.

You get the feeling that Scott has really thought through and done his research every episode and guest on this show. The diversity of the guests and the topics is out of this world and sets it apart from all the other tech podcasts

Great individual, fantastic when talking about technology. Unfortunately most of his podcasts delve too much into issues that are more suited to a low grade sociology class then a tech podcast.

This is a Microsoft advertisement podcast. I enjoyed it in the past for letting women have a voice in a mostly while male dominated domain. But most of the women voices seem to be hired by MS and they prolly did this to have them on this BS of cast.

Scott Hanselman's reputation precedes him in a way that few other developers enjoy. As Scott himself says, this podcast has really hit its stride recently, and I couldn't agree more. The quality of the audio and conversation sets a high bar for all other tech podcasts.Read full review »

What I love about HanselMinutes is that you hear about cool uses of new tech, often in .NET, but in a practical context. No "tech for tech's sake" stuff that hasn't been used at scale. I never would have considered the .NET stack if I hadn't listened to this.Read full review »

At first I thought this podcast might be a bit too .NET / Microsoft focused, but Scott and his guests really seem to be able to focus on the important issues and themes of various technologies being discussed that go well beyond a specific implementation / platform. Well worth a listen.
