Everything Grim and Mild has produced has been excellent-until Harlots
Unlistenable. Lasted 8 minutes in and had to stop. Never mind the delivery that swerves wildly between an overly caffeinated daycare reading to junior league instruction of terms like ‘harem’ (has this girl never cracked open a history book?), this podcast is pure cringe. Think audio burlesque if performed by Looney Tunes cartoon characters in the 1940s. Such a pity. Maybe get someone who isn’t trying to cut our steak into cutesy, bit-size pieces for us. A little verbal sophistication never killed anyone.

I went in to this wanting to not like it. But a few episodes in and I’m hooked. Generally I feel Manhke and the whole grim and mild thing is a little over saturated but I’m all for this. Good job.
