The story is enough
I agree with another reviewer that the narrator didn’t need to try to use pauses and tone to add drama to this well researched, engrossing account. With that said, if I was making the first episode of a podcast I’m pretty sure I would be doing my best to get listeners interested in every way I could. I typically cringe at the thought of listening to a first episode of anything because it takes time for people to find their stride. I loved this episode. It didn’t seem like a first episode. Well researched, and more importantly, it didn’t forget to address the elephant in the room. Well done. I look forward to hearing more.

I’ve been stalking this podcast weekly to look for new episodes. This new series has me hooked for sure! My fiancé and I love to listen to Lore on our road trips, but this series is becoming our new favorite.

So far I love this podcast. GennaRose has a very fun way of telling us about this interesting slice of history. I can’t wait to hear more.
