“As a loyal Harmenian, this is a show I regularly drive (from Orange County to LA) to (though, now that it's weekly, that's gonna be scaled back). Harmon's neuroses are the real star of the show. It's an added bonus that they're spun through a brilliant mind & verbalized through an educated word-hole.
It all started w/a dream...a dream to colonize a new, theoretically better, city on the moon. Of course, with all dreams (outside of a handful of movies- A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Dreamscape, & Inception-- the latter is prominently featured in ep 2) cannot be controlled, and what started w/a show about colonizing the moon has turned into a show about so much more (or so much less, depending on your interpretation).
No matter what, Dan and Comptroller Jeff Davis (& one-time guest comptroller Erin McGathy) have one of the funniest podcast out there. Give it a listen & hear the hilarity for yourself. Chances are, you'll become a loyal Harmenian, as well.”Read full review »
