A real story, so well told
A BRILLIANT PODCAST. Brilliantly told. I was unlucky enough to experience first hand the “cruel era” of Australian Big Brother in the 2000s. The way this story is told is exceptional. It perfectly captures the psychological damage that these production companies wantonly caused to the participants and thousands like them from other shows - most of whom were unpaid - who continue to suffer the consequences more than a decade later. This is tough to listen. But it’s so important. It’s gripping and it’s real. The producers knew even then that they were literally playing with her life. They didn’t care. Despite all this, Miriam’s own bright star shines through. This podcast is maybe the best I’ve ever heard. Well done to all involved in its production, especially the host Trace.
