I listened to the whole episode and…
Everything that Grim and Mild touches is fantastic so knowing this new podcast was coming was very exciting. I am also a fan of Amy Bruni so this seems like it will be a perfect match. The first episode covers a fascinating topic but the very first thing we get to hear is an ad for a cannabis convention - I get it, it's big business and I have nothing against it but it does take a little credibility away from the topic. If we are supposed to take this research seriously maybe don't start off right out of the gates with an ad about pot? (and then play the it again 10 minutes later) The actual episode starts with Robert Larson's experience which is told very well. Amy Bruni's whole hearted, all in, belief of the story killed her credibility for me. The Larson family were there to investigate but they deleted physical evidence because it was too scary?? Also, the argument about Robert being right handed (because even though you're right handed you could never switch hands and use your left hand?) and arguing that he swears he didn't stab himself is just awful. We just finished hearing how he blacked out and remembers nothing. The interview with Johnny Houser was great. I especially liked the message that Amy had at the end of the podcast about remembering and respecting positive things even in horrible situations. Overall, I think the podcast has potential and I look forward to future episodes.Read full review »

I spent the night in that house two weeks after Robert “stabbed himself” with a group of friends, but we were told it was his leg, not his shoulder. The night we were there was quiet but not without incident. Strange static on our voice recorders and some photographic anomalies but that was it....Read full review »
