Audio is awful It sounds like they are in a tunnel. The host reads pretty bad Says things bad too like oily Ander instead of “oh Leander” I do like the stories but the delivery makes it hard to listen to. The constant pauses to catch up to where she was is annoying

One of my favorite shows about haunting and mystery. The fist story was of the Patterson girl from SoCal- close to me. LOVED LOVED LOVED the research, the story and the interviews. I love that they also bring mediums which adds to the charms of supernatural. I just finished the Debbie case - 10...Read full review »

Thought HH Holes was probably also “Jack the Ripper and the Black Dahlia killer”. Jack the Ripper killed in 1888. Black Dahlua was killed in 1947. HH Holmes died in 1896.

Please god stop saying deeleeuh. I want to like this pod cast and I going to try some newer episodes but dear lord I can’t get past the mispronunciation of a FAMOUS murder case. Can’t stay on task, really going off on if you drink tap water or bottled? Trite.

I thought I found an interesting podcast about Carl “Alfalfa” Switzer. It began “Most people think of The Little Rascals as the 1994 movie with Donald Trump”. I turned it off at that point. I just want to say that’s wrong. While I’m vaguely aware there was a rip off movie, I grew up watching the...Read full review »

I have just recently discovered this podcast and have binged through all of the episodes too fast. I love the mix of content and appreciate the level of detail and extensive research that goes into each episode. Really excellent work! Love this podcast! I’ve binged the first 3 seasons of this podcast in a little over a week! I’m a huge history buff and love hearing about stories I’ve never heard and hearing more info on some of the stories I have heard before. I love the dynamic between the ladies and they keep my interest...Read full review »

But the quality is terrible, the popping particularly. Any way to fix that?

This story is on my aunt and two cousins. Sadly the case is still at a dead end. Thank you so much on doing this story for my family. This means more than you know. Thank you ladies so very much because you helped us find out more about John and his side of the family than I knew because she went...Read full review »

I listened to the two long form missing persons cases, Debra Lynn’s second, but when I bot to the Billy the psychic episode, I was completely done. Cathie seems like an earnest woman, but certainly not a professional. Not that one needs to be to do this work, yet listening to Ron break down in...Read full review »

I just started listening from Kerry Patterson story. I enjoy the podcast and find it very interesting but one of the hosts (cathie) interrupts the family/interviewees way too much. A good interviewer should listen and interject when necessary but it was too obvious how much they over spoke the...Read full review »

I loooove a good true crime podcast and this is exactly it! She does amazing research and doesn’t just do her own “Wikipedia” search, she digs deep, even using genealogy sites and will actually go the extra mile to reach out to get more answers. There are very few true crime podcasts that give...Read full review »

We are here to listen to your stories not about you. Please present the story and leave the personal experiences out. One s has the most monotone voice and the other has the most uneven pace—stumbling over words. Horrible.
Likenma via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/23/20
I typically never comment on personalities because I hate to judge... But you guys are listening story! Your monotone is such a turn off. I have tried many many times to listen because the subject matter is solid. But the dull factor... sorry.

So, I do this thing where I binge listen to a ton of podcasts (mostly true crime) and usually out of every binge I find one that I really like. Well, I was almost at the end of my list this time and then I found this one. So glad I did. I don't have a preference for whether or not there is...Read full review »

I live down the road from the Bell Witch Cave. I would love to talk to you and correct some of the inaccuracies in your podcast. I love your podcast but I had a hard time with these 2 episodes as there was a lot of inaccuracies. The whole town of Adams is creepy to be frank.

You are one of my favorites! I enjoy learning about all these lesser known stories. I think you come at it with an open mind and you show passion and empathy toward every case/subject. That’s what keeps bringing me back!!!

I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast! My favorite part is when Cat and Haley start talking together about this or that (their personal thoughts) in the middle of the story. They have a great natural vibe going on. I look forward to listening to more!

They get too sidetracked.. The title says “Haunted History” but yet main focus is elsewhere. Heard more about her daughters tiktok addiction than the actual story..

I had high hopes for this podcast. It’s certainly up my road of interests. However, I just could not get past the girls hosting the “Cecil Hotel” cast. The topics are great and entertaining, I wish I could listen more, but the flow is jarred by Cat reading the story from a paper and consistently tripping over words. If you are going to read the stories, practice reading them out load to your self a few times before you do the broadcast.
